Important note: Do not use Multi-Value nodes for a Single Value. It will not return a value.
- Check to be sure DataLinq Server is running in the IP and Port that has been configured in the DataLinq Plugin configuration file (Engine/Plugins/DataLinq/Config/BaseDatalinq.ini).
Important: You will need to restart Voyager after making changes to the configuration file. - Check to make sure DataLinq Plugin is connected to DataLinq Server.
- If you have the Output Log enabled, please search for "LogDataLinq".
- Check to be sure you can find the "Connected to DataLinq Server" line.
- If you don't have the Output Log window enabled, please check Output Log Window.
- If it is running, check if the DataLinq Server is actually reading the file/source properly.
- Open XPression DataLinq Server.
- Select the corresponding DataLinq Source.
- Click Browse to verify the content is visible.
- If the value is visible in the DataLinq Server Browse window but not in Voyager, please make sure the names of the DataLinq Source, Column, Row, and Table (if applicable) match.
To validate the DataLinq Properties in XPression:
- Open XPression.
- Add a Text object.
- Assign the corresponding Data Source.
- Verify the DataLinq (source), Column, Row and Table values from XPression matches your Voyager DataLinq Plugin node properties.
- If it's an Excel (or other table-based source), please make sure the "Table" name is set exactly as XPression uses it. In some cases it may require a "$" character at the end.
