The Acuity supports both ethernet and T-BUS remote control panels that function as AUX panels on the switcher. To connect a T-BUS panel, an NK-IPS or NK-NET is required.
Connecting RCP-ME, RCP-QE, RCP-QE18, and RCP-QE36 panels:

Connecting an NK-IPS:
In the NK-IPS configuration:
- Set the client TCP port to 5000.
In the Acuity configuration:
- Press HOME > Setup > Installation > Com Setup.
- Press Type and use the Com Port knob to select the net port to set up for the device.
- Use the Device knob to select Remote Aux.
- Press Select Device and use the Device knob to select RCP Control.
- Press Com Settings and use the Client/Server knob to select Client and enter the IP Settings.
IP Setting Value Remote IP Address (IP of NK-IPS) Remote Port 5000 Local IP Address 0.0.0.0 Local Port 0 - Press Extra Options and use the Option knob to select RCP Model; use the Value knob to select RCP-NK1, RCP-NKM, or RCP-NKQ.
- Use the Option knob to select Level; use the Value knob to match the level configured on the RCP.
Option Value RCP Model Select the model of RCP panel you are connecting to. Level Select the level you want to assign the switcher to. Level is used to identify the switcher that the RCP is controlling. When you assign a Level to a switcher, you must select that Level on the RCP to control that particular switcher. Index Type Select whether to use the source/destination mapping from before Acuity® 7.1a (Pre-V7.1a) or from 7.1a and later (Post-V7.1a default). - Press HOME > Confirm.
Connecting an NK-NET:
In the NK-NET configuration:
- Set the client connection to the Acuity panel's IP address.
In the Acuity configuration:
- Press HOME > Setup > Installation > Com Setup.
- Press Type and use the Com Port knob to select the net port to set up for the device.
- Use the Device knob to select Remote Aux.
- Press Select Device and use the Device knob to select RCP Control.
- Press Com Settings and use the Client/Server knob to select Client and enter the IP Settings.
