Your RAVE audio breakout can send out Phantom Power (+48v) on your analog inputs for inputs that would require Phantom Power.
Note: Phantom should be turned off while connecting any inputs as well as for inputs that do not require Phantom, because you can damage equipment.
You will typically need to use Phantom Power for audio sources such as wired condenser microphones and DI boxes in production environment. Phantom is not required for every source.
To enable Phantom for an analog input, in Audio Mixer, click the Gain button. On newer versions of Graphite and Carbonite Ultra this is found in the config tab for the mixer.
You can tell that a channel has Phantom Power turned on by looking at the analog input in mixer. When Phantom is on the XLR symbol turns red.
Note: Remember to turn this off when you are connecting your inputs and for sources that do not need it.
