As the NK routers age, there is a possibility that on reboot it will lose all the routes. This is due to the failure of the capacitor on the micro controller card.
Once a new one is received below is the instructions for replacement.
- 1. Power down!
- Loosen the hex nut, holding the v-ref board and the micro board in place, to move the small clamp out of the way (Figure 1)
- Pull the micro board out and insert the new one
- Put the clamp in place and tighten the nut
- Power up
- Ensure the configuration of the partitions is correct (Figure 2)
- Re-route sources to destinations
