With M9 units, there is a known issue where after restarting the system, customers lose connection between the output card and XPression Studio software, as the Performance reader shows 0%, even though there are scenes on the framebuffers. Installing the ASPEED driver helps to resolve this issue.
However, this driver will cause issues for customers, as the ASPEED Graphics Family (WDDM) adaptor will act as a virtual display and can only be viewed if the customer remotes into the XPression server through Team Viewer and switches to said display:
This causes further issues if they have apps that automatically open on this display, and they cannot access this display to move said app to another display, (assuming they have other display monitors connected).
To work around this, the ASPEED Graphics Family (WDDM) adaptor will need to be disabled in the Device Manager settings (DO NOT uninstall this):
