Dell Pro Support offers 24/7 support for hardware issues and any RMAs or Onsite support can be provided after a ticket is initiated with Dell. Our Ross Video Tech Support will always be happy to help diagnose and support any issues, and we can help get you started on the ticket process.
However, as part of leveraging the Dell Pro Support, the ownership of your purchased unit needs to be transferred from Ross Video to your company. This step is necessary to initiate any RMAs or On-Site support that may be needed. Ross Video can still assist with troubleshooting and diagnoses regardless of the ownership status, but it is highly recommended to initiate the ownership transfer as soon as possible to ensure faster and smoother support from both Dell and Ross Video.

How to Transfer Dell Ownership
The first thing that is necessary to initiate the transfer is the Dell Service Tag Number. It can generally be found on a plastic tag in the front face of the server, or by entering the following command in Command Prompt or PowerShell.

Once you have the Service Tag, you can then visit the following link to start the Ownership Transfer process.
You will need to login or create an account for your company to proceed with the transfer. Once you have logged in, you will be able to proceed to the next steps.
Fill out the Service Tag with the corresponding tag number that you are wishing to transfer and select continue. In the next step, you'll need to fill out the previous owner details which are provided just below.
