Capture Salvo
1 - Navigate to Ultrix > Database > Configuration > Salvos.
2 - Click the 'Camera' icon.
3 - Click "Capture System Status.
4 - Name the Salvo, and click Apply.
Backup Database
1 - Navigate to Ultrix > Database > Database Manager.
2 - Click on the active Database.
3 - Click the Export Button at the top of the screen.
Rename the Database if desired.
Navigate to a save location, and press Save.*
If any more databases need to be backed up, repeat these steps.
*If this Save As pop-up window doesn't come up, ensure that JxBrowser is enabled in Dashboard- Window > Preferences > Browser Preferences.
Backup Layouts
1 - Navigate to Ultrix > System > Configuration > Backup / Restore.
2 - Click Ultriscape Layouts.
3 - Click the first Layout.
4 - Hold the shift button on the keyboard, and click the last Layout.
5 - Click the Export button, rename the file to AllLayouts.layz, navigate to save location on local computer, and click Save.
Backup Frame Settings
1 - Using the same page as above, click Ultrix frame settings.
2 - Select the frame name.
3 - Click the Export button, navigate to save location on local computer, and click Save.
Backup IP Settings (if applicable)
If the Ultrix has any IP-IO or IPX-IO cards installed, these IP settings can be backed up.
1 - Using the same page as above, click the IP media configuration.
2 - Click on a slot card.
3 - Click on the Export button.
Go through each slot card, Exporting each slot card's .imc file.
Once individual files are backed up,
Click Export All, and save the full frame's IP settings as one file as well.
